U.S. Buyers Dominate Wine Auction Action

American buyers came back with a bang at a New York wine auction, as Asian buyers took a back seat.
The $1.4-million Sotheby's sale emphasized that U.S. buyers had returned to the auction market in a bullish mood, and almost two-thirds of the lots sold went for more than their high-end estimate.
